Representative Rothfus Applauds Strong September Jobs Report

Representative Keith Rothfus (PA-12) issued the following statement on the announcement that the unemployment rate fell to 3.7% last month - the lowest level since 1969:
"Today's announcement that the unemployment rate has fallen to a 49 year low is the latest in a consistent stream of the great economic news that keeps rolling in since the enactment of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act," said Congressman Rothfus. "This did not happen by accident. This monumental achievement happened as a consequence of the pro-growth policies we have been pursuing for the last two years. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and our efforts to right-size our regulations are helping people get back in the game again and fueling an economic boom."
